Mala Class with Kate Crofford
Learn a bead knotting technique to create our own mala using natural semi-precious stone beads! Constructing your own prayer beads can be a meditation in itself, each knot adding further purpose to the finished mala. Kate will guide you in construction technique and Rhonda will lead the class in meditation to prepare a mindful space for its creation. Assorted stone beads and other supplies included with class registration. 2 hour session will ensure your technique and progress on your mala, but everyone might not finish in class, as you will be encouraged to work at your own pace.

This ceremony is an ancient, timeless ceremony of the Andes of connection and reconnection. This is an offering or "give away" ceremony, offering back to the mother earth-the Pachamama, the mountains-the Apus, the spirits and creative principle some of what has been gifted to us in this current harvest season. These ceremonies are done and the beginning and end of each harvest season, for birthdays, graduations and other special momentous events during life's course.
